Home of the Galapagos Tortoise and boasting the best marlin fishing in the world and nearly all of the other animals that make the Galapagos Islands so famous.  The following Galapagos Islands information was gathered during our January 2006 excursion to beautiful San Cristobal.  We were able to experience Galapagos Islands fishing for ourselves and it was absolutely incredible!  Known for its friendly people, great food and drink, and nearly every convenience ,  it is the most sensible and complete destination in the Galapagos Islands.
